Play Gobang by placing stones on the board and trying to make a line of five before your opponent does. A line can be horizontal, vertical or diagonal. Each turn, look for a move that creates a threat while also checking whether the opponent must be blocked. If the opponent has four in a row, block it immediately. The goal is to build a winning five-stone line.
